A Journey Through History

The Maiden Edition

The inaugural edition of Arise7000 took place on October 18, 2008, in the city of Bognor Regis, United Kingdom. This event was a miracle and a profound confirmation of God's faithfulness to the commission for two key reasons: it was less than a year prior that the Lord had spoken to me about it, and it was organized in a community where I do not reside, in a country I had only moved to just a year earlier. The abundant favors surrounding the connections, the venue, the publicity, and the attendance were undoubtedly orchestrated by God.

Progress

This spontaneous and successful beginning highlights the urgency in God's heart concerning the Arise7000 mandate. As the Bible says, 'Out of the mouths of two or three witnesses, every word is established.' Reflecting on the account in 1 Kings 19:18, as relayed in Romans 11:1–5, I feel an even stronger conviction about this mandate, which is deeply engraved in my spirit. God's word affirms in verse 5 the significance of this commission in our present time: 'Even so, then, at this present time, there is a remnant according to the election of grace.' To God be the glory!
